| Outlook Express is a free email client software application that
comes as standard and free with Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional
as well
as Windows 2000 / ME and Windows 98 / SE. Microsoft Outlook Express is easy
to use, quick to load and I like it as, unlike Outlook (the souped up email
client and organizer), it creates a seperate (.dbx) file for each email folder
which makes backing up email much quicker than with Outlook's .pst file...
Also Outlook is not free (it is supplied as part of MS Office) whereas Outlook
Express is free!
Anyway, below is an easy to understand, screenshot-based guide
and set of instructions that clearly explain how you can setup Outlook Express
to send and receive email using your email address (i.e. POP3 email account).
